Hello

Welcome to my website. My name is Joy Cloud for those that don’t know me personally. I am an artist of multiple mediums of art. I am 46 years old. I am divorced after 23 years of marriage. I have one son and a granddaughter. I am a retired homemaker and now a full-time artist.

I love art. I love making art but also looking at it and wondering if this is how others feel when they look at my artwork. I have always been drawn to art and crafts of some kind. In 2017 I started making fairy houses. It took me about 7 years to master it as air dry clay is not normal in Az. (That dry heat)

In 2019 I tried my hand at mixed media and I loved it. I did art for a couple of years as a hobby and my therapy.

I started watching Bob Ross in 2019 as well. Then in

February of 2020 I tried my hand at chalk pastels. I couldn’t believe I did what I did. So I bravely tried oil painting. It took lots of patience and practice. I then believed and started to refer to myself as an artist. I also added other forms of art like abstract and acrylic pours. I believe art saves lives and I know it saved mine! Each piece I make has my heart and soul in it. This is my passion and my purpose for sharing it with others makes me happy! Some of the art I create I want to live in. Art is my happy place. I also enjoy books, drums, coffee, herbs, and peaceful places. My granddaughter wants to be like me when she grows up. There are big shoes to fill. So I want to show her that her dreams can come true if she believes and works at them!
